ProtectV v1.5 and ProtectV v1.6 Customer Release Notes Available (AWS and VMware platforms)

Customer release notes for ProtectV v1.5 and ProtectV v1.6 are available for download. These releases include support for the following platforms:

  • ProtectV v1.5 (Build 197):
    • AWS – Customer Release Notes (007-011531-001): This a GA release offering new features and enhancements that include a significant change in the ProtectV Manager upgrade procedure, a revised client platform list, enhanced protection for AWS instances, enhanced enable/reassign partition procedures, and more.
    • VMware –  Customer Release Notes (007-011984-001) This a GA release offering new features and enhancements that include a significant change in the ProtectV Manager upgrade procedure, a revised client platform list, enhanced enable/reassign partition procedures, and more.

 

  • ProtectV v1.6 (Build 218):
    • AWS – Customer Release Notes (007-011531-001) This is a GA release offering new features and enhancements that include: downloadable ProtectV Client installers from the ProtectV Manager Console, and Amazon GovCloud (US) support (currently in beta).
    • VMware – Customer Release Notes (007-011984-001) This is a GA release offering new features and enhancements that include downloadable ProtectV Client installers from the ProtectV Manager Console, ProtectV Client support for E1000 and E1000e Ethernet adapters, and mandatory interface selection during the ProtectV Windows Client installation
