SafeNet ProtectFile Windows 8.11.1 and Linux 8.11.1 Now Available

Thales is pleased to announce the release of SafeNet ProtectFile Windows 8.11.1 and Linux 8.11.1.  Safenet ProtectFile helps enterprise and goverment organizations to easily encrypt individual files and folders containing confidential information stored on client machines.  Cryptograhically enforced access rights enable only authorized identities to read, write and modify encrypted files and folders.

SafeNet ProtectFile offers new features and enhancements, including:

SafeNet ProtectFile for Windows 8.11.1:

  • Unified installer for KeySecure Classic and NextGen KeySecure
  • Support for cluster shared disks as mount point
  • Support for Windows Server 2019
  • Support for Windows 10, version 1903
  • Migration approach changes
  • Improved key rotation

SafeNet ProtectFile for Linux 8.11.1:

  • Support for RHEL 7.7
  • File Server Meta Information
