SafeNet IDPrime Virtual Client 2.2 for Linux – Release Announcement

We are pleased to announce the first release of SafeNet IDPrime Virtual Client for Linux.

 This new release of  SafeNet IDPrime Virtual Client 2.2 for Linux features the following:

  • Emulation of  the SafeNet IDPrime smart cards for virtual use to enable all smart card workflow
  • Sharing of virtual smart card between Windows and Linux
  • Support for latest OS,  Ubuntu 20.04, Redhat 8, Cent OS 8
  • Inclusion of SAC as part of the package

Note:  The following features are not supported:

  • Offline Mode
  • On Behalf Token Provisioning
  • Standard PC/SC support.
