SafeNet Authentication Manager 8.2 Hotfix Release Announcement

We are pleased to announce the release of SafeNet Authentication Manager 8.2 Hotfix 158.749. This is another exciting step to bringing together the core competencies of SafeNet Authentication Manager with Gemalto smart cards.

SafeNet Authentication Manager is available for download from the Gemalto Service Portal (DOW4454).

New Key Features

    • SafeNet Authentication Manager 8.2 supports Gemalto ID Prime MD smart cards
    o IDPrime MD 830-FIPS (Contact mode)
    o IDPrime MD 3810 (Contact mode)
    o IDPrime MD 3810 MIFARE 1K (Contact mode)
    • SafeNet Authentication Manager 8.2 will support updated releases of SafeNet eToken 5110 FIPS when it becomes available in a few weeks’ time.

While using IDPrime MD cards with SafeNet Authentication Manager, both new and existing customers need to take certain steps including downloading the latest hotfix, installing SafeNet Authentication Client 10.0 or later and install the latest SafeNet Authentication Manager client.
