New FIPS 140-2 L3 Certifications for SafeNet High Speed Encryptors 

SafeNet High Speed Encryptors (HSE) provide proven high-assurance Layer 2 network security for organizations’ sensitive data, real-time video and voice, as it moves across virtual and physical networks, between data centers, to the last mile, and up to the cloud and back again. As part of our continued commitment to providing our customers with tried and tested high-assurance offerings, we are pleased to announce that FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certification has been achieved for the first time on the SafeNet Ethernet Encryptor CN4020 (Certificate  #2794) and the SafeNet Multilink Encryptor CN8000 platforms (Certificate #2791). These two appliances are available as of today. In addition, the certifications for SafeNet Ethernet Encryptor CN6100 (Certificate  #2789), the SafeNet Ethernet/Fibre Channel Encryptor CN6040 (Certificate  #2789), the SafeNet Ethernet Encryptor CN6010 (Certificate  #2794), and the SafeNet Ethernet Encryptor CN4010 (Certificate  #2794) have been updated to reflect the newest firmware (version 2.7.1).

The updated platforms will be available for shipping in Q1 2017.
