New Features and Enhancements

• API Improvements:
  • Domain Administrators can search for “available administrators”. Previously, only system level administrators could use that parameter.
  • RESTful API improvement: Users can now backup CipherTrust Manager settings through the API.
• Auditing and Logging Updates:
  • DSM now creates audit log entries when the Host Settings are updated.
  • KMIP server now logs CRUD (create, read, update, delete) operations.
  • FS Agents can securely send logs to Syslog Serve
  • System Administrator can add or update syslog servers and share them with domains.
  • System Administrators can configure log suppression settings.
• Enhancements for CipherTrust Transparent Encryption (CTE):
  • CTE Cluster Silo for LDT over NFS: Support a group of hosts that communicate with each other when using multimode solution
  • IDT Policy Improvement: Easily migrate standard GuardPoint to an IDT Efficient Storage using a non-XTS key (clear key) in an iDT policy.
  • Compatibility View Improvement: You can search for hosts based on Hostname, Status, or OS Type on the Compatibility View page.
  • CIFS Credentials Improvement: DSM supports multiple hosts using same local user name with different passwords.

  • TLS 1.3 Support: DSM server now supports TLS 1.3 protocol for communication between: Agent DSM; Browser  DSM; LDAP Server  DSM
