After much anticipation, we are excited to announce all Thales CN Series Encryptors have achieved Common Criteria EAL4+ 3 certification to reflect the newest firmware upgrade to Version 5. This is a significant achievement and we congratulate the Thales certification team!
Thales CN4010, CN4020, CN6010, CN6010, CN6140, and CN9120 Network Encryptors were put through functional testing and structured code review by a nationally accredited laboratory to confirm the product complies with the claimed level of security.
The Common Criteria and recent FIPS 140-2 Level 3 achievements, combined with our work to gain other updated certifications including DODIN APL (formerly UC APL) and NATO, reinforces Thales’ commitment to providing our customers with tried and tested high-assurance offerings.
The latest firmware release is offered free of charge to all Thales HSE customers from the Thales Support Portal
