SafeNet MobilePASS Release Updates – BlackBerry Java

We would like to advise you that an updated version of MobilePASS – Version 8.3.5 for BlackBerry Java will be available on the BlackBerry Market from July 31st, 2014.

New Features and Enhancements

    • When provisioning a new Challenge token against SafeNet Authentication Service Cloud, the MobilePASS application now opens automatically after clicking the Enrollment link.

    • When using a local SafeNet Authentication Service environment with BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES), the MobilePASS application can now be opened from the email link.

    • The MobilePASS daemon now prompts the user to confirm Browser Filtering permissions if not pre-configured.

Authentication Server Compatibility

MobilePASS 8.3.5 for BlackBerry Java is supported on the following SafeNet Authentication solutions:

    • SafeNet Authentication Service Cloud

    • SafeNet Authentication Service SPE/PCE

    • SafeNet Authentication Manager

    • SafeNet Authentication Manager Express

    • SPA

Upgrade Advisory

    • Upgrade of already activated tokens from existing version of the application to these latest versions of MobilePASS is supported.
