SafeNet MobilePASS Release Updates – Windows

We would like to advise you that an updated version of MobilePASS – Version 8.4 for Windows desktop will be available on the SafeNet Support Portal (DOW3345) from August 8th, 2014.

New Features and Enhancements

    • A new Copy button enables users to copy the OTP Passcode to the clipboard.
    • Manual enrollment can now be enabled or disabled during installation.
    • In addition to the previously supported launch of MobilePASS from a local or USB drive, MobilePASS can now also be launched from a network drive.

Authentication Server Compatibility

MobilePASS 8.4 for Windows is supported on the following SafeNet Authentication solutions:

    • SafeWord Premier Access, 3.2.1.06 and later*
    • SafeWord 2008/ SafeNet Authentication Manager Express, 8.1and later
    • SafeNet Authentication Manager, 8.0 and later
    • SafeNet Authentication Service PCE/SPE 3.3.2
    • SafeNet Authentication Service Cloud

Upgrade Advisory

    • Upgrade of already activated tokens from existing version of the application to these latest versions of MobilePASS is supported.
    • For SafeWord Premier Access (SPA) 3.2.1.06 and later customer please refer to the ‘Upgrading MobilePASS’ section in the CRN before upgrading.
