MobilePASS Windows 8.4.1 Announcement

We would like to advise you that an updated version of MobilePASS – Version 8.4.1 for Windows desktop will be available on the SafeNet Support Portal (DOW3444) from September 10th, 2014.

New Features and Enhancements

 

  • This is a maintenance release which addresses issues in Version 8.4 which caused the generation of corrupted OTPs

Authentication Server Compatibility

MobilePASS 8.4.1 for Windows is supported on the following SafeNet Authentication solutions:

  • SafeWord Premier Access, 3.2.1.06 and later*
  • SafeWord 2008/ SafeNet Authentication Manager Express,8.1 and later
  • SafeNet Authentication Manager, 8.0 and later
  • SafeNet Authentication Service PCE/SPE 3.3.2
  • SafeNet Authentication Service Cloud

Upgrade Advisory

  • Upgrade of already activated tokens from existing version of the application to these latest versions of MobilePASS is supported.
  • For SafeWord Premier Access (SPA) 3.2.1.06 and later customer please refer to the ‘Upgrading MobilePASS’ section in the CRN before upgrading.
