Gemalto would like to remind you that the Luna EFT 1 products are now in Good Faith support status.
Version one of the Luna EFT product is now in good faith support status. Whilst full software support continues as normal, hardware repair or replacement is now on a good faith basis. In addition, no new software customizations can be delivered against the EFT1 platform.
Customers looking for a replacement product are encouraged to migrate to the Luna EFT 2 which is fully backwards compatible with applications written for older Luna EFT 1, ProtectHost White and ProtectHost EFT versions. Luna EFT 2 offers the following features:
- Standard web-based remote management
- Higher performance – up to 2000 payment operations per second
- Hot-swap dual power supplies as standard
- Multiple partitions
- PCI-HSM version 2.0 certification
Customers with active maintenance contracts will continue to receive support from Gemalto as outlined in this announcement.
Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product(s). Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement. For customers with active and paid service and support contracts, support will be available until the termination date of the contract, even if this date exceeds the Last Date of Support shown in the following table:
