SafeNet Authentication Client  (SAC) 10.8 R2 for Windows and SafeNet Minidriver 10.8 R2 – Release Announcement

We would like to inform you that SafeNet Authentication Client 10.8 R2 for Windows and SafeNet Minidriver 10.8 R2 are now released.

These new releases fix known issues and feature the following:

SafeNet Authentication Client  10.8 R2 for Windows

  • Rebranding: SAC 10.8 (R2) has been rebranded to Thales look and feel
  • Typical Installation enhancements: SafeNet Minidriver profile has been included in the SafeNet Authentication Client ‘Typical Installation’
  • Support for SafeNet IDPrime 940 SIS
  • SafeNet IDPrime 3940 FIDO (to be released in the coming months)
  • Localization improvements: Enhancements to existing language support and added support to Slovenian, Croatian, Serbian, Slovakian

SafeNet Minidriver 10.8 R2 

  • PKCS#11 support
  • .msi file improvements
  • Mini SAC Tray Application: Tray application icons added for “Change PIN” and “Unlock PIN” functions
