Thales Crypto Command Center Version 3.6.x End of Support

Overview

Thales recently launched Crypto Command Center version 3.8, providing easy provisioning, management and monitoring for Thales Luna Hardware Security Modules (HSMs). Because of this latest release, Thales is announcing the end of support for version 3.6.x as per the timelines listed in Table 1. To ease your migration efforts, please refer to Table 2 below.

New to the platform with Crypto Command Center v3.8:

  • Migrate Services: easily migrate objects, such as key material, from legacy Luna HSM 6.x devices to Luna HSM 7.x devices.
  • Support for Luna HSM 7: additional device support for Luna HSM v7.7.0 and v7.7.1.
  • Oracle 19c Support: use Oracle Database 19c, the current long-term support release with Crypto Command Center.

 November 22, 2021 As of this date, Crypto Command Center 3.8 is the only version available for download.
End of Support May 22, 2022 Technical support, security updates, and software maintenance cease. Please contact your Thales representative with any concerns.

Supported Technologies

Crypto Command Center can manage PED and password-authenticated Luna Network HSM devices that meet the following minimum requirements:

  Appliance Software

  • Luna HSM software 6.2.2; 6.3; 7.0; 7.1; 7.7.0; and 7.7.1
  • REST API required

  Firmware

  • 6.10.9 or higher
