Thales Crypto Command Center v4.2 is now available to help customers easily provision, manage and monitor Thales Luna HSMs. This release provides enhanced security measures, as well as improvements to reporting, monitoring and analysis capabilities for a better and more flexible user experience and streamlined operational efficiency.
What’s New in this Release?
Improved Import Partitions Feature: Users who want to import and manage a partition can now specify which HSMs they want to search for importable partitions (instead of searching all HSMs at once), for a more streamlined process and enhanced efficiency.
Improved Insight into Service Monitoring Activities: Users can now track operational metrics across different timeframes (per minute, per hour, and per day), in addition to the existing transactions per-second, which are then displayed on the service monitoring dashboard in graph format. This new capability allows users to adjust the scale of the graph, based on the volume of activity for a more accurate visual representation of activity being captured.
Report Generation for Specific Devices: Users with multiple HSMs are now able to generate a report for a subset of HSMs vs. one report for all configured HSMs.
Customizable Login Screen Messages: Administrators can now create customized messages that are displayed as a banner on the login screen, which is visible to all users. Admins can choose the start and end times that the message appears, and assign a category (informative, warning, or critical). Example use case: need to advise users of planned maintenance, that could impact performance and availability of crypto resources.
Visibility into FIPS Status: Customers can now see if their HSMs have been configured in FIPS mode.
