We would like to announce the release of SafeNet Authentication Client (SAC) 10.9 for Windows and SafeNet Minidriver 10.9.
Note: We strongly suggest migrating to this new version which offers security enhancements that overcome 2 vulnerabilities found. For more information, please refer to the below section “Security Enhancements for SAC 10.9 for Windows & SafeNet Minidriver 10.9”.
SAC 10.9 for Windows features the following:
- Support for PIV Cards via PKCS11 and SAC Tools
- PIV 3.0 support
- Limited support for PIV 4.0 (RSA 3k/4k only) – To be released in Q2
- Snapdragon CPU support
- Support for External PIN Pad readers
- Security enhancements (See in section below)
- Known issues
SafeNet Minidriver 10.9 features the following:
- Snapdragon CPU support
- Support for Linked Mode which enables better PIN management for CC tokens and cards.
