We are excited to announce the release of CipherTrust Transparent Encryption (CTE), now on the Data Protection on Demand (DPoD) marketplace. CTE, a key offering on the CipherTrust Data Security Platform, and CDSPaaS on DPoD, enables customers to protect their sensitive data wherever it resides. CTE helps meet compliance and best practice requirements for safeguarding data on-premises, in hybrid environments, or across multiple clouds.
CipherTrust Data Security Platform as a Service (CDSPaaS) has been available to try and purchase from the DPoD Marketplace since March, with CipherTrust Cloud Key Management (CCKM). CCKM enables customers to centralize the management of cloud encryption keys as they migrate sensitive data to the public cloud.
With the release of CTE, Thales continues its commitment to offering CDSP connectors via a cloud-based delivery model, the DPoD Marketplace. Cloud-based services help customers reduce deployment time by lowering the cost of ownership, simplifying consumption, and helping constrained enterprises address the growing shortage of skilled security personnel.

NEW CipherTrust Transparent Encryption (CTE) enables you to meet compliance and best practice requirements for protecting data, wherever it resides—across multiple clouds, on-premises, and within container environments. CTE additionally offers:
- Live Data Transformation (LDT) is a patented, zero-downtime encryption deployment feature from Thales that enables seamless encryption and re-keying of data without interrupting application availability. This innovation fulfills the promise of true transparency, requiring no modifications to applications or infrastructure.
- Ransomware Protection (RWP) continuously monitors processes for abnormal I/O activity and alerts or blocks malicious activity before ransomware can take complete hold of your endpoints and servers. (Currently for Windows Server environments only)
