Please be advised that we have identified an issue with MobilePASS v8.4 for the Windows Desktop platform.
This issue impacts customers using MobilePASS 8.4 for Windows Desktop with our platforms including SafeNet Authentication Service Cloud (SAS Cloud), and on-premise versions of SafeNet Authentication Service (SAS PCE/SPE). All other customers are not impacted by this issue.
Customers who have already deployed MobilePASS Desktop v8.4 for Windows Desktops are advised to take the following steps:
1. Uninstall current MobilePASS 8.4 for Windows Desktop clients from users’ desktops (Existing tokens will be deleted).
2. Install MobilePASS 8.3 on users’ desktops.
3. Enroll new token(s).
Customers who have not currently deployed MobilePASS Desktop can continue using the currently available MobilePASS Windows Desktop v8.3.8 without any problems.
