End-of-Sale and End-of-Life Announcement Vormetric Orchestrator

This is an announcement to all Thales customers communicating end-of-sale and end-of-life for the Vormetric Orchestrator, effective immediately, on this day, July 1, 2020.

 

End-of-Sale and End-of-Life Timeline:

The table below outlines the important end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product(s) listed above.

 

Milestones Date Description
END-OF-SALE (EOS) 1-July-2020 Affected product SKU’s will be removed from the Sales Catalog. They cannot be purchased after this date.
END-OF-SUPPORT and

END-OF-LIFE

 1-July-2020 Thales will no longer support the affected products beyond this date.

 

Replacement Solution

  • There is no Thales replacement product for the Vormetric Orchestrator.
  • Customers may use a commercial orchestration product, like Ansible from Red Hat to automate the deployment and upgrade of Thales encryption agents such as Vormetric Transparent Encryption.
