This is an announcement to all Thales customers of SafeNet ProtectV to alert you that we will soon begin the End-of-Life (EOL) process for SafeNet ProtectV.
End-of-Sale and End-of-Life Timeline:
The table below outlines the important end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the affected product(s) listed above.

Recommended Migration Strategy
Thales is not offering a direct replacement product for SafeNet ProtectV.
Customers are recommended to migrate to CipherTrust Manager (formerly known as Next Generation KeySecure), and replace their current ProtectV deployment with one of the following 2 options.
- Deploy native cloud encryption solutions and manage the keys using either CipherTrust Manager or CipherTrust Cloud Key Manager.
- Discuss with your Thales account team if Vormetric Transparent Encryption will meet your requirements.
