Thales High Speed Encryptors FIPS 140-2 Certification Updated

After much anticipation, we are excited to announce all Thales High Speed Encryptors (HSE) have achieved NIST certification for v5.2 firmware updates! Thales HSEs secure data in motion as it moves across the network between data centers and headquarters, branch, and satellite offices, to backup and disaster recovery sites, on premises and in the cloud.

Thales HSEs were put through functional testing and structured code review by a nationally accredited laboratory to confirm the product complies with the claimed level of security.

This is a significant achievement and we congratulate the Thales certification team!

You can find the NIST Certifications on the NIST website here:
NIST Certificate #4209: CN4010, CN4020, CN6010, CN6140, CN9100 and CN9120
NIST Certificate #3906: CN6010, CN6040

In addition, the Department of Defense’s Information Network Approved Product List (DoDIN UC APL) has cleared and listed Thales HSEs under the vendor name SafeNet Assured Technologies, also known as Trusted Cyber Technologies (TCT). While this is a validation for use of the product on U.S. government networks, it’s publicly released and provides a useful HSE overview that can be helpful with global sales opportunities.
