SafeNet Authentication Service PCE/SPE 3.5.5 – Release announcement

We are pleased to inform you that SafeNet Authentication Service PCE/SPE 3.5.5 is now available for download from the Gemalto Service Portal KB0015684

This general availability release includes new features as well as enhancements and issues resolved since the previous release.

New Features and Enhancements

Support for SafeNet OTP 110 and IDProve 100 hardware tokens: These OATH-compatible tokens generate 6 digit one-time passwords (OTP) in either time- or event- based modes. A separate notice with ordering information and token features will be sent once the SafeNet OTP 110 is available for order.

Enhanced Rules for Provisioning Tokens: This feature will now help users to prevent unexpected token revocations while provisioning their tokens. Using this functionality, users will now be able to apply OR logic to the target groups, so that if one or more groups are selected for a rule, users that belong to ANY of the selected groups will be included in the rule.

Removal of MySQL Library: With this SAS release, no MySQL components (such as MYSQL Connector) will now be included in the SAS PCE/SPE installation package in order to be free from General Purpose License (GPL), open-source requirements.
