SafeNet Virtual KeySecure k170v v.1.3 GA Announcement

Gemalto is pleased to announce the official release of SafeNet Virtual KeySecure k170v version 1.3

SafeNet Virtual KeySecure k170v version 1.3 is built on prevailing cloud-based technologies — a key differentiator between the current k150v and k450v models and the next generation k170v model.

New in this Release:

  • Hybrid HSM – Provides greater flexibility by enabling you to connect k170v appliances in a cluster to different HSMs / and or HSM partitions
  • Support for Oracle TDE and SQL Server EKM
  • AES KeyWrap – Protects the key as it is exported from the appliance 

Administrative improvements, including:

  • Improved level of permissions, controls and enhances policies for key administration
  • New product documentation (available on the Gemalto Customer Support Portal)
