Toward the end of June, SafeNet Authentication Service Cloud, Thales’s cloud-based authentication service, was merged into SafeNet Trusted Access, our cloud-based access management service to form a unified access management and authentication service delivered from the cloud.  To this end, SafeNet Authentication Service Cloud will no longer be available as a standalone offer.

The merge of our leading cloud-based authentication service with SafeNet Trusted Access gives customers significant value and strong capabilities. It allows customers of Thales’s cloud-based authentication service to now benefit from SSO through SAML and OICD-based federation, enhance identity validation with advanced contextual authentication and protect cloud resources with a powerful access policy engine – all within a single access management service.

SafeNet Authentication Service PCE continues to be sold as an on-premises OTP authentication server.
