SafeNet Authentication Client (SAC) 10.9 R1 for Windows
This new version brings the following features:
- Support for SafeNet eToken Fusion S2 NFC PIV, and SafeNet IDPrime 3940C.
- Support for Safenet IDPrime Virtual on Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop via Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP)

Thales UMDF2* CCID** Service for Windows Server
The Thales UMDF2 service is designed to redirect tokens from the new default CCID driver (UMDF2) for USB tokens provided by Microsoft on Windows Server 2022 to the UMDF CCID Driver. Thales tokens are not detectable when using the UMDF2 driver, so this service enables silent redirection to the UMDF driver, making Thales tokens detectable again.
* UMDF2 (User-Mode Driver Framework) is like a bridge between your computer and the devices you plug in (like printers, keyboards, or webcams). It helps Windows understand how to talk to these devices and use them properly.
**The CCID USB driver is a software component that enables your computer to communicate with devices that use a CCID (Common Criteria for Information Technology Evaluation) card reader interface.
